On Tuesday 10 2019 December ASeTTS commemorated Human Rights Day 2019. This is the day the General Assembly of the UN adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Adopted in 1948, the Declaration stipulates universal values and a shared standard of achievement for everyone in every country.

“ASeTTS Vision is for a more peaceful and just world where human rights are recognised, violations of human rights are challenged and where there is support for people who have endured torture and trauma, and for their families”.

As part of the morning ceremony staff and clients created a ‘Human Rights Tree’ adding quotes and words identifying which of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 30 articles was more relevant to them.
