We are pleased to announce that Ellie Carr has been appointed to the role of Executive Manager – Client Services.
As Fiona Reid prepares to relocate later in the year to Melbourne, she has stepped into the role of Executive Manager – Transition. Fiona will work closely with Ellie and the Executive team over the next few months to ensure a smooth handover.
Ellie has over 30 years of experience across the UK and Western Australia as a senior mental health nurse, clinical governance consultant and has held senior management roles at Lifeline WA and Midland Hospital. She has held executive roles in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, with a strong focus on quality improvement, accreditation readiness, and culturally safe service design.
She brings strategic insight, deep clinical expertise, and a collaborative leadership style that aligns strongly with our commitment to safety, compliance, and client-centred care.
Among her many achievements, she established the Statewide Suicide Prevention Network and has extensive experience in designing and delivering community-led programs.
Ellie said “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the ASeTTS team. Almost 18 months ago, I visited the organisation in my capacity as a quality standards assessor and was impressed by the impact of the services and the professionalism of the staff. I am really looking forward to getting to know the service delivery team more and supporting them to continue the amazing work that they do every day.”
When not at work Ellie likes to support her local garden centres through her gardening skills and loves spending time with her two grandchildren – one human and a one-eyed rescue greyhound. She also thinks kookaburra laughs are infectious.
We are excited to welcome Ellie into this role and look forward to the leadership and expertise she will bring to ASeTTS.
