Latin American Community Project

The first year of our Latin American Community Project was completed in FY 2023-24.  In collaboration with a project working group, 12 activities were delivered to 52 participants – all Spanish speaking humanitarian entrants from Central and South America. In the mid-term project evaluation, participants have reported a strong sense of belonging fostered by the project, through peer-led sessions and social/recreational activity.

The project will continue throughout 2024-25, to support newly arrived and established Latin American community members to improve their wellbeing and form sustainable connections.
