ASeTTS is inviting people with a passion for human rights to join our Board.
ASeTTS is Western Australia’s sole provider of counselling and therapeutic support services to survivors of torture and trauma from refugee-like backgrounds.
ASeTTS works within a human rights and social justice framework to help heal individuals, families and communities. We are part of a national network of organisations undertaking this work, funded primarily by the Commonwealth Government, in line with Australia’s international treaty commitments and obligations.
If you support Australia’s refugee and asylum seeker settlement and support programs including programs that support the recovery of survivors of torture and trauma, and are keen to assist in the governance and leadership of a prominent not-for profit organisation, and this could be the next chapter of your contribution to a more peaceful and just Australia.
We are seeking new Board members from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and/or people who have lived experience as a refugees, asylum seeker, survivor of torture and trauma with experience in service delivery and managing governance and risk in organisations.
Applications close at COB Friday 30 September 2022.
